So sorry for the loss of Gene - we know he was not having any fun these last many months. He didn't deserve any pain and suffering. It was not what anyone would want for such a fun-loving man with a heart of gold. There is a big hole there with Gene's passing. He will be missed. God's blessings and sincere sympathy. Our prayers are with you and he'll be watching over all of his loved ones.

Dwayne Lawhorn left a message on November 27, 2018:

I met Gene 20 years ago at Finlay Industries for a sales call for equipment and from that day I thought this guy is pretty cool. Always honest and straight forward, he called me "Big Guy" and I loved to talk to him. Always the same guy each time. The family has our Deepest Sympathy, he will be truly missed in my heart, however I am so glad we had the opportunities to share some positive moments Dwayne Lawhorn from Yale Equipment..

One of my very favorite memories of Geno. There are many. We owned the home on Kekoskee St and a large snowfall of 9 inches damaged some of the trees. The Saturday we were cleaning up. And when we were done Gene had us over for an old fashioned. Well it was several old fashioneds later when we left. As always Gene and Sharon, great neighbors they have always been. Showed us a wonderful time. And we got relaxed. Miss your smile Gene. We will keep an eye on Sharon. Love you.
