Florence M. Weber

Florence A. Weber, age 83, died on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the Mayville Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Friends may call at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 starting at 11:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral services will follow the visitation at the church at 12:00 Noon. Rev. Jonathan D. Szczesny will officiate. Burial will be at the Oakhill Cemetery in Horicon following the services.

Florence Anna Wanda Kirchman was born on September 21, 1923 to William and Viola (Sell) Kirchman in Rio Creek, Wisconsin. She was a 1940 graduate of Algoma High School. On November 8, 1947 She was united in marriage to Delmar Weber in Algoma at St. Paul”s Lutheran Church. Together, they farmed in the Horicon area for many years then later made their home in the city of Horicon. Florence then became a nursing assistant at the Lutheran Deaconess Hospital.

Mrs. Weber is survived by her two children; Mark Weber, of Merrimac and James (Judy) Weber, of Horicon, five grandchildren; Melissa, Mechelle, John (Andrea), Terry (Patsy) and Thomas, and two great grandchildren; Josie and Tanner. She is also survived by three sisters; Eleanor Bohman, Violet McCosky and Shirley Kirchman, all of Algoma, a son-in-law, Gerald Dobbratz, of Amherst and a brother and sisters-in-law; Loyd (Mary) Kirchman, Lorraine Johns of Horicon and Esther Schaefer of Algoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Delmar, on February 13, 2006 a daughter, Bonnie Weber-Anderson, in May of 2003 and many brothers and sisters-in-law.

The family suggests that memorials be made in Florence”s name to St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church.

The Murray Funeral Home in Horicon is serving the family.
