Gary E. Gindt, age 66, of Brownsville passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, September 2 at 4 p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy with the Rev. Fr. Tom Biersack presiding. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 1 – 4 p.m. at the church. Inurnment will take place at St. Andrew Cemetery. Masks are encouraged.Gary was born the son of Ralph and Alice (Bauer) Gindt on March 21, 1955. He was a 1973 graduate of Mayville High School. Gary was united in marriage to Cynthia ‘Cindy’ Will on September 1, 1990 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in LeRoy. Gary farmed in the Brownsville area and also alongside his wife Cindy, owned and operated Cinder’s Tavern in Farmersville for over 18 years. Gary was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. In his spare time, Gary loved watching sports and cheering on his Wisconsin teams. He also enjoyed the outdoors, while fishing at Fox Lake or having a bon fire with family and friends. Gary loved people and the chance to socialize with them.Gary is survived by his wife- Cindy Gindt of Brownsville. His sister- Shirley (Mike) Mangan of Lomira, sister in law- Sharon Gindt of Mayville. His mother in law- Ruth Will of N. Fond du Lac, sister in law- Darlene/Dolly(Mike) Billington of Mayville, brother in law- Jim (Cathy) Will of Van Dyne, brother in law- Jeffrey (Renee) Will of Fond du Lac, brother in law- Michael (Linda) Will of N. Fond du Lac, brother in law- Darwin (Jodi) Will of Fond du Lac, and sister in law- Evelina Larson of Lomira. His nieces and nephews- Dawn (Mike), Lee (Darlene), Kris (Steve), Duane, Bryan (Laurie), Jodi (Pat), Bridget, Steven (Melissa), Lacey (Justin), Lindsey (Cole), Alex, Amy (Dan), Mike Jr. (Ashley), Bobbi Jo (Brian), Nick (Jenny), Nathan, Steve (Laura Lee), Stan, Scott (Brianne). His two best friends- Mike Billington and Steve Bauer. Further survived by other relatives and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Roger, Harley, Kenneth and his sister in law and Bev Abitz.Special thanks to the nurses and staff at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac for the care and support shown to Gary and his family.
