Gerald O. Keel

Gerald O. Keel, 84 years old, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the VA Hospital in Madison. A memorial service for Gerald will be held on Monday, March 28th at 4:00 p.m. at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville, with the Rev. Seth Dorn officiating. A visitation will also be held on Monday, March 28th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville. Military rites will be conducted by the Lowell V.F.W. Post #9392 following the service. Gerald Owen Keel was born on December 9, 1931 to Milton and Leona (Welk) Keel in the township of Oak Grove. He was united in marriage to Marlene Krueger on April 21, 1961 at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Gerald farmed in the township of Beaver Dam, and was also employed by Caine Warehousing in Reeseville. Gerald was a member of St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. He was also a member of the Lowell V.F.W. Post #9392, and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the army. Gerald enjoyed fishing and hunting. Gerald is survived by: his wife Marlene and his daughter Wanda Keel of Beaver Dam; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, and 5 sisters & brothers. Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home & cremation services in Reeseville is serving the family.
