Geraldine “Gerry” R. Henke, age 85, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam. There will be no formal services. Geraldine was born on February 27, 1930 in Juneau, Wisconsin to the late Wilbert E. and Mabel L. (Linde) Seegert. She was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School and also attended college for 2 years. On September 26, 1953, she was united in marriage with Donald Henke in Beaver Dam. Gerry was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved cooking for her family. She owned Gers Beauty Salon for many years until she semi-retired and worked for La Moore Hair & Tanning Salon. Survivors include her daughter, Dana L. Seering of Green Bay; grandson, Josh Seering; two great grandsons, Clayton Frank and Dylan Seering; her loving dog , Maggie; other relatives and friends. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald in 2011; and her sister, Barbara Schaefer. The Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is caring for the family.
