Gladys L. Seefeldt

Gladys L. Seefeldt, age 95, of Beaver Dam, died Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

There will be a gathering at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jim Wendt officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.

Gladys was born on May 18, 1931, in Michigan to the late Beryl and Ethel (nee Rowe) Smith. She graduated from Stockbridge Michigan High School in 1949 and from Lansing Business University in 1951. On May 19, 1951, Gladys was united in marriage with Donald A. Seefeldt. After moving to Wisconsin, Gladys worked for Windsor Home Builders from 1971 to 1976. In 1977, Gladys went to work as an administrative assistant and a constituent aide for several Wisconsin State Senators and Representatives. She also spent a few years working as the executive secretary for the Dane County executive; and at W. T. Rogers. Gladys had been a faithful member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam prior to its closing.

Survivors include her three children, Ted (Linda) Seefeldt, Jeff (Sharon) Seefeldt, and Nancy Seefeldt; her daughter-in-law, Carmen Sebentsfeldt; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, John Sebentsfeldt; her sister, Thelma Hawxhurst; and her brother, Donald Smith.
