I remember Gladys well, we started working at the Capitol about the same time. She was welcoming and always pleasant, with a smile and a nice thing to say. I guess when I introduced myself Rick sounded like Craig, as that is what she called me. There was a Craig on the page staff who looked a little like me. I guess, just don't call me late for dinner and I stopped correcting her. I'm so glad she had a long life with a nice family. She deserved it.

What a great lady and a great mom. Always warm and welcoming with a great sense of humor. When I worked for the County and Gladys worked for the County Executive, she had my back and it was truly appreciated. Lots of good memories with the family too. Truly sorry for your loss.

In 1993, I was elected Wisconsin Senate President and I got to hire an additional person for the new responsibilities. Gladys joined my staff, and what a great addition she was. She brought a lot of experience and worked so well with others and with our constituents. She became a mentor and friend to everyone. I always found her to be smart, energetic and fun. My sympathy to her family in the loss of this wonderful woman.

All my condolences. I'll never forget you waking me and my best friend up banging on pots and pans at the cabin, thank you for always accepting me as family ❤️
