So sorry to read of Butch's passing. We are keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers. We do not drive that distance anymore but will be there in spirit.
Karen, so sorry to hear about Butch's passing. He helped me out a few times when I was Chief at Randolph. We worked so well together at fire calls and enjoyed our times at Fire Chief conventions. He will be missed and thank him for his past services.
Butch and I became friends because we were friends with Jim Boness. Taking fire trucks to Oshkosh, fixing warning lights, tackling the some nasty crisis, to advance planning well before 9/11.
Biggest surprise he's a firefighter and I am a cop, now that's a combo. We respected each other's professions, and we solved problems not create. Probably the finest gift I have ever received, was when Butch presented me with his LT fire helmet when he became Capt. His comment was simple, YOU EARNED THIS MORE THAN ANY FIREFIGHTERS I KNOW.
Journey well old friend and accept entry into our Creators kingdom. Remember Butch, true firefighters never get sent to hell, devil knows they'll put the fires out and rescue the souls. 221.
Glenn will be missed very much. Love seeing his smile at the chiropractic clinic. My sympathy to Karen and the family. R. I. P. 🙏
My condolences to the family. He gave so much to Zion and Columbus that enabled the kids to have safe field trips and bus rides to their home. He was always looking out for my girls and I will be forever grateful. Thankful he is now with our Savior in heaven.
Karen, So sorry to hear about Glen. Your family is in my prayers! I know how hard it is to lose a spouse! It has been 14 years for me and it does get easier but you never forget. Hang in there and come to our class reunion on Oct 1. Mary Weber
My thoughts go out to you, Lisa, and your family during this difficult time.
