Dear Anne, I was sorry to hear of Greg's passing, I remember with fondness the Easter programs we worked on together at the Randolph EV Free church. What a great guy! God bless you and your family.
Dear Anne, Judy, and Family, My deepest sympathy on the loss of Greg. I will always remember talking to my neighbor across the hall for 11 years in the Annex at Van Brunt. Also, the noises that I would hear when Greg was teaching beginner band students for the 23 years I was at Horicon. My dad also said he will remember the conversations he had with Greg when he came to visit me.
Judy - So sorry to hear of your loss. Holding you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Our deepest sympathies to Greg's family. Our son Brad and Caleb have been friends for many years. We would keep up to date on the boys during our Rechek's shopping times. Prayers for you all.
Greg was a dedicated music teacher and friend. I worked with Greg at Van Brunt Elementary and Middle School in Horicon for many years. We enjoyed jokes about "special classes" and that Art and Music were the creative classes of school. Students used their talents in Art and Music as their way to express themselves. We thought ourselves as Special Teachers of Creative Expression. Greg always gave me a welcomed smile and during our Spring Concerts and Art Shows, Greg introduced me as teacher with the artistic view of the concert. The music he brought to the school was admirable and gave teachers and students respect for playing music. We had good times at that school and many students will remember Greg his great teaching abilities and talent. Greg will not be forgotten. He is playing instruments in Heaven. Respectfully and with a Heavy Heart, Gary and Renate Schaumburg
We were happy to have known Mr. Pellerin through his teaching at the Horicon school. He was a positive influence to our daughters and just a great person who will be missed by all who knew him.
Anne ~ Bob and I are holding you and Rebekah and Caleb in our hearts and prayers as you all go through the loss of Greg. I can only tell you he made a difference in my life...he encouraged with his patience me as I know many others in his life of music.. I was insecure but had the deep desire and need to minister through music the love I have for the Lord...and he made it a safe place to express on the worship team for me and the others we sang with those years. I will always be thankful and grateful for that. Before that I sang for years in choirs but the worship team is such an experience that cannot be compared. And you Anne in my heart and mind are the picture of strength and love and everything a wife and mom can be. I can only hope that I am some of that strength and love for my own family. You are both loved. And you my dear sister will never be without friends and sisters on this earth! Love to all of you Deb and Bob Blaedow
Sincere sympathies to your family. I was fortunate to work with Greg at Horicon and admired his ability to bring the best in his students. My daughter can attest to that. He was always smiling, friendly and sincere. He will be missed.
My condolences to the whole family. You are in my prayers. Greg was a wonderful man. I greatly enjoyed getting to know him through Harvest church and especially in the worship ministry. My children really enjoyed sitting under his teaching while they attended CWC and he was their band teacher. His love of music was very evident to them and was infectious.
My condolences to the Pellerin family. Mr. Pellerin taught me how to play the flute a long time ago in Horicon. He was such a wonderful teacher and kind man. It was always nice to see him at Rechecks or at the BDAO concerts. Our community is so much richer because he was a part of it.
My Sincerest Sympathy to all of the family of dearest Greg. I remember his discomfort eating lunch with us ladies telling stories of breast feeding and childbirth.... but he endured and just kept chewing. He was such a great spirit. He made me laugh. He respected and loved his job and his students and they knew it. We will miss him dearly. Tina Kasper
My deepest sympathy to the Pellerin family. I was saddened to hear of the passing of my favorite teacher. Greg was an amazing musician and shared that passion with all of his students. I was fortunate to have learned from him, as well as play alongside of him and his sister Judy in Symphonic Band. While I mourn the loss of a great man, I feel blessed and honored that he was an influential part of my life.
My deepest condolences to the Pellerin family. I remember Greg as being a very loving and nurturing father and husband. They lived up the street from me growing up and I have fond memories of playing at the Pellerin home with Caleb and our other friends. Sending warm thoughts and prayers to your family during this difficult time. God bless.
Always enjoyed seeing Greg and Anne at Church, the Overture, and especially Greg at Recheks. Such a great guy. Our condolences go out to the Pellerin family. Dave and Diane Edwards
Judy...so sorry to hear about the death of your brother...he was always so nice to me when he played in band...you and your whole family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time...
My thoughts and Prayers are with Greg and His Family. I remember the mornings we would spend together before grade school along with Doug.
I want to say I am so sorry to hear of Greg's passing, he was very instrumental in helping me be a better theater producer and connecting the orchestra members with the cast members fostering better collegial relationships, always improving the show. I will never forget his influence there or his always smiling face and helpful nature at the store, his legacy will live on and on. He will be sorely missed.
May God give you comfort and strength to get through this difficult time. May all the memories you are being told help you know and understand what a GREAT man we were all blessed to call a friend. Greg was an amazing band director and taught so many how to let their passion shine. Thanks Mr. P for being the best at anything you set your mind too. Rest in Peace and we will one day meet again. And I promise Nathan will not touch your checkbook. Prayers to your family. Beth Schwoch
My kids were blessed to have had Mr. Pellerin as their junior high band teacher. His encouragement, patience, and kindness will always be remembered. Rest in the peace of God's grace.
Thinking of you at this time of loss. Praying you will be filled with wonderful memories of Greg. May God wrap His loving arms around you and comfort you as only He can. Praising God for Greg's life and the blessing he was to us. No more pain for Greg. Love, Mark&Kathy Knoll
Judy, Jim and Doug, you have my condolences and my sorrow at the hearing of this news. Growing up across the street from your family was simply great. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I have many great memories of great times with Greg. He was a great teacher and musician! -- Fred Palmer
Love and prayers.... For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Cheri Miescke
I enjoyed being in many BDACT plays where Greg could be found offering his talents in the orchestra pit. May you experience God's gentle healing powers at this difficult time.
Our prayers and sympathy are with Greg's family at this time. We remember Greg being such a kind and caring person. Phil and Joan Perry
Here's brother Greg at our Aunt Betty's 90th Birthday party in early August, 2014. Just before his diagnosis.
Our Prayers to the family, Greg was my daughters band director and he was such a wonderful, caring man with such love of music and really expressed that to his students. God's Blessings, Dan, Barb, Jessica & Jenna Berkevich
My prayers are with you all. Mr. Pellerin was a great band teacher.
Our hearts are heavy in the Beaver Dam Area Orchestra upon the loss of our friend and fellow musician. Greg's musical gifts were God given. His beautiful clarinet tone will be terribly missed. Greg was the anchor and guiding hand in the BDAO woodwind section during many, many concerts. He was a warm friend, a talented musician and a caring teacher. Our Orchestra will be lesser in spirit from his passing.
