Harold L. McGlothin, age 77, of Beaver Dam, died Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.

In keeping with Harold’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.

Harold was born on October 5, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Loretta (nee: Mulliken) McGlothin. On October 18, 1969, he was united in marriage with Susan M. Willing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Harold loved civil war history and was very knowledgeable about that period. He also enjoyed the history of the wild west and took part in some reenactments along with his wife, Susan. Together they travelled throughout the southwestern United States and beyond. Of all the things Harold enjoyed, being a grandpa was at the top of the list.

Survivors include his wife, Susan McGlothin of Beaver Dam; two daughters, Dawn McGlothin of Milwaukee and Cherie (Michael) Buchholz of West Allis; his granddaughter, Serenity Buchholz; two brothers, Kenneth (Angel) McGlothin of Hartford and Lewy (Chris) McGlothin of West Bend; three sisters, Jean Zienkiewicz of Hartford, Debbie Florine of Hartford, and Suzy (Lenny) Gellenberg; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and two sisters.
