Heidi R. Schoenberger, age 45, died Friday, May 4, 2007 at her Home in Beaver Dam.

Friends and family may call Trinity Church United Methodist in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at church, beginning at 1:00 PM. Reverend Mark Swanson will officiate. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in the Town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

The former Heidi Renee Hansen was born on March 11, 1962 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Donald and Ramona (Kreger) Hansen. She was active in the Girl Scouts as a child. Heidi attended Wayland Academy for two years and was a 1980 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. Heidi taught learning disabled and challenged children for the Beaver Dam Unified School District; she also taught art classes at the high school. On May 27, 1994, Heidi was united in marriage with Eric Schoenberger in Beaver Dam. Heidi had worked for the Beaver Dam Welcome Wagon, the Nicholet Welcome Service and she worked as a floral designer. She had also worked as an office manager for Caves Insurance Agency and Snow Insurance Agency. She was a member of Trinity Church United Methodist and was a soloist for special events at the church. Heidi was also a member of the DAV Auxiliary #50 in Beaver Dam.

Survivors include her husband, Eric Schoenberger of Beaver Dam, three sons, Nathaniel L. Druecke of Beaver Dam, Nicholas I. Druecke of Beaver Dam and Spencer T. Schoenberger of Beaver Dam, her parents, Donald and Ramona Hansen of Beaver Dam, four brothers, Dane Hansen of Columbus, Kim Hansen of Arizona, Ross Hansen of Beaver Dam and Kurt (Lori) Hansen of Mayville, her father-in-law, Harold D. Schoenberger of Beaver Dam, her brother-in-law, Gregg (Jill) Schoenberger of Livermore, CA, her close friend, Brenda (Bob) Howland of Wyocena, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Heidi was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother-in-law, Marty Schoenberger.

Memorials are appreciated in lieu of flowers and may be made to the Schoenberger family.

We are all saddened to see such a wonderful person leave us, but we know she is only preceeding to a place where we all must go... a place of comfort and peace we all came from and to which we all return. Everyone who had the occasion to speak to her was touched by her warmth, and she earned a special place in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time.

Eric, I was shocked to see the obituary in tonight''s paper after seeing you at Pizza Hut yesterday. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I never suspected that she was suffering from any illness. Whenever we saw the two of you, you were always smiling and inquiring about our family. We will miss seeing Heidi. You and your family have our hearfelt sympathies and condolences. The videotribute was just beautiful. What wonderful memories you have of your life together.
