On this day, February 6, 2016 our mother went to be with the love of her life, our father, who preceded her in death in January 2004, in the presence of Our Lord and Savior. She was born to Albert and Mary Frank on May 19, 1918. She married James Welch on September 27, 1941 and they had 63 years together before his death. There are many things we can say about our mother. One of the things she always said to us was there was never a better man than our father. Whenever we went to her home she always had a puzzle on the table and wanted to play any kind of card game. She had a great sense of humor. We, her five children who survive her, will miss her warmth and caring: Nancy (Joseph) Kluz, Gerald (Judy) Welch, Ronald (Laura) Welch all of Fox Lake, Judith (Tom) Schmitt of Beaver Dam and Mary Jane (Ken) Bradley of Appleton. She is also survived by her brother, Robert (Betty) Frank of Beaver Dam, 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren, also step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joseph Kluz Jr. in 1993, her parents, and three brothers and two step grandsons. As a member of Annunciation Catholic Parish of Fox Lake for over 60 years, we will come together to celebrate her life here on earth and transition into eternal life on Thursday, February 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Parish, 305 W. Green Street, Fox Lake with Father Michael L. Wild officiating. A visitation for Helen will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 10th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam and on Thursday, Feb. 11th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at church. Interment will be at Annunciation Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations in Helen’s name may be made to Annunciation Catholic Parish in Fox Lake. Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, Beaver Dam is serving the family. Am sending my sympathy to my dear email friend Nancy Kluz. After reading your mother's obituary, I am sure I would have liked to have her for my friend . God Bless you and all your family.
I wish you happiness, and joy in God's hands, and I cant imagine the joy you must be feeling seeing your husband once again. I hope we all meet again when it is our time, and I attest that it has been a honour having you as a step-grandmother. My only regret is that I will miss your service, but I cant possibly make it back from Asia in time. My most sincere condolences to my step-father, and your children.
All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. So glad we had the honor of knowing Helen & Jim.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Beth, Andy, Ian, and Emily
