Herb A. Czoschke

Herb Allen Czoschke age 86,of Knowles passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Harbor Haven in Fond du Lac.Per Herbs request, private funeral services will be held at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville with the Rev. Matthew Kuske officiating.Herb was born Jan 6th, 1931 to Herbert and Mary (Randall) Czoschke in Knowles. He graduated from Mayville High School in 1950. Herb served in the Army during the Korean War, and was awarded a Purple Heart. He married Jeanne Beesie of Horicon on Jan 23rd, 1954 in Horicon. He was owner and operator of Czoschke’s Plumbing, Heating and Wiring. Herb was a member of the Knowles Volunteer Fire Dept, the Dodge County Civil Defense team, and served on the Lomira School Board for several years. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post #347 in Lomira, WI. Herb was a member of St Luke’s Lutheran Church in Knowles.Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Czoschke of Knowles, two daughters- Shannon (Dale) Schaefer of Brownsville, WI. and Shelley(Steve) Bowe of Green Bay, WI, five grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Further survived by other relatives and friends.Preceding him in death were his parents and sister Rosemary.A sincere thank you to the staff at Hope Health and Rehabilitation in Lomira and Harbor Haven in Fond du Lac for their kind care and thank you to Agnesian Hospice, especially Katie and Kari for their help in the final days.
