Howard C. Richards

Howard C. Richards, age 88, of Reeseville, died on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Dycora Transitional Care in Watertown. The visitation will be at First United Church of Christ in Reeseville on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Lois Rosko will officiate and burial will be at United Church of Christ Cemetery in the Town of Lowell, Dodge County. Howard Clarence Richards was born on September 27, 1930 in De Forest, Wisconsin to Clarence and Ella (Warren) Richards. On July 9, 1955, he was united in marriage with Gloria Schmidt in Reeseville. Howard owned and operated a dairy farm in Reeseville and it was his true passion in life. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Howard is survived by his wife, Gloria Richards of Reeseville; children, Larry (Wendy) Richards of Reeseville, and Debra (Robert) Hauptli of Waterloo; grandchildren, Jena (Willard) Morris, Brian (Nicole) Richards, Chris (Laura) Hauptli, Nick (Denise) Hauptli, and Sheena Hauptli; great grandchildren, Lorelai, Charlotte, Haydn, and Patyn; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.
