Howard O. Miller, age 69, of Burnett, died peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at UW Hospital in Madison.
The visitation will be at Zion Lutheran Church in Burnett on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow at the church on Wednesday with Rev. Tim Sallach officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton, Dodge County, Wisconsin. Following the burial, there will be a celebration of Howie’s life, at the Copper Bell in Burnett.
Howard Orrin was born on April 15, 1953 in Portage, Wisconsin to Harvey and Caroline (Jacob) Miller. On July 7, 2007, he married Kathleen Braun. Howie worked in the Portage area most of his life. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Howie had a love for nature and gardening. His favorite place to be was in his backyard enjoying a fire, with Kathleen by his side. He was a #1 Packer fan, a cat lover, and enjoyed ending his day with a Miller High Life.
Howard is survived by his wife, Kathleen of Burnett; children, Shaina (Fiancé, Trent Cooper) Miller of Colorado, Anna (Heriberto) Valdespino of Texas, Emma (Bill) Brugger of Pennsylvania, and Jason Haase of Burnett; grandchildren, Brandy (Tony), Kailey, Savannah, Abigail, and Linkin; great grandchildren, Palmer, Nolan, Isabelle, Arianna, Eli and Ava; sister, Marcia; brother, Lloyd (Val); nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant daughter; and his parents-in-law, Clarence and Betty Braun.
