Iris Walach Stranski

Iris M. Walach Stranski, age 54, died Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in Beaver Dam. In keeping with Iris’ wishes, there will be no services. As a small child, she spent all her free time with her horse Bylur on Washington Island, Door County, Wisconsin. Iris enjoyed the prep school on the East coast. Later, she traveled many times to Germany and Greece visiting with family. Iris loved the Cayman Islands and became the assistant to the marketing director of 20 Island Stores. On August 10, 2011, Iris was united in marriage with Joseph Stranski on Washington Island, Door County, Wisconsin. Photography was Iris’ real passion to the point where she owned and operated Funky Monkey Foto. She loved people and animals Iris is survived by her husband, Joe Stranski and her mother, Dietlind Walach, both of Beaver Dam; Joe, Mike, George, and Dr. Megan Stranski; her aunt, Inge and cousins Natasha and Alexander Sipf of Germany and Dennis Rombach of Germany. She was preceded in death by her brother, Erik.
