Irvin D. Riese age 85 of Beaver Dam, WI passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at his home. A funeral service for Irvin will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon, WI with Rev. Jonathan Szczesny officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Horicon, WI. Irvin was born the son of Charles & Mary (Kempf) Riese on January 1, 1930 in Tomahawk, WI. Irvin was united in marriage to Emergene Ewert on August 11, 1951 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville, WI. Irvin retired from John Deere Co. of Horicon, WI.Irvin was a member of the St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon, WI. Irvin very much enjoyed spending time in the Tomahawk area, taking in all that nature has to offer. Irvin is survived by: -his children Ken Riese of Randolph, Deborah (Frank) Sauer of Horicon, Sandi (Russ) Poritz of Horicon, Sue (Dean) Cook of Fox Lake, & Mike Riese of Montello; sister Annabelle Loman of Appleton, WI: grandchildren; Dan (friend Nicki) Riese, Dustin Riese, Derek Riese, Jessica (Robert) Biermann, Becky Sauer, Bruce Christian Jr., Kelly (fiancée Andy Weinheimer) Christian, Jason (Jessica) Cook, Christal (Cody) Bruesch; 3 step-grandchildren Allison Poritz, Cassandra Poritz & Racheal Poritz; 11 great grand children and 1 step great grandchild nieces & nephews, other relatives & friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; Wife Emergene in 2010 & sisters and brothers.Memorials may be directed to St Stephen Church or School.
