Jack Lloyd Coleman, 90 years old, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital. No formal service will be held. Inurnment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, with graveside military rites being conducted by Beaver Dam American Legion, John E. Miller Post #146. Jack was born on October 8, 1924 to John L. P. and Clara L. (Tisdale) Coleman in La Crosse, WI. He was a 1942 graduate of Beaver Dam High School, a graduate of Wayland Junior College in Beaver Dam and a graduate of DeVry Institute in Chicago. He was employed as a linotype operator at Beaver Dam Daily Citizen for 17 years, and also at the Beaver Dam Water Department for 17 years, until his retirement in 1991. Jack was a member of First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Jack was a veteran of WWII, serving in the army in Europe, as well as a member of the Beaver Dam American Legion John E. Miller Post #146. He was a bowling enthusiast. Jack enjoyed bowling at Maple Lanes in Beaver Dam where he held the high series for a long time. Jack also took great enjoyment from taking his family shopping. Jack is survived by: his son James (Robyn) Coleman of Beaver Dam and his daughter Jacqueline (Jeff) Beilfuss of Beaver Dam; his grandchildren James (Katie) Coleman, Ethan Coleman, Alec Beilfuss and Natalie Beilfuss; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers Warren, Monnie, and Joseph, and 1 brother Carter in infancy.
