Jacqueline A. Straseske, age 60, of Horicon, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
Jackie Ann was born on February 1, 1965, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, to Wallace and Dorothy (Borkovec) Netzer. On May 14, 2001, she married the love of her life, James Straseseke, in Juneau, Wisconsin. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure.
Jackie worked as a maintenance mechanic at John Deere Horicon Works, where she was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. Outside of work, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved gardening and spending time at her cottage in Mount Morris, where she enjoyed fishing and relaxing by the water. Winters were marked by snowmobile trips with her husband—an activity they both cherished.
Jackie had a creative spirit and enjoyed doing crafts and thrift shopping, always on the lookout for unique treasures. She will be remembered for her generous heart. She was always willing to lend a hand to others without hesitation.
Jacqueline will be missed by her husband, Jim; siblings, Mary Netzer, Kathy Madison, Tom Netzer, Tim Netzer and Dan Netzer (Brenda); parents-in-law, Dave and Karen Straseske; and Jim’s brothers, Dan Straseske and Paul (Brenda) Straseske; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother-in-law, Steven Erceg.
There will be a memorial gathering at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jacqueline A. Straseske’s name to Dodge County Humane Society or to Wounded Warrior Project.

I said, "Wow, that's very kind of you, but no, you keep it. It's my job, and it's a pleasure to do it for you, Jackie. But, thank you so much, anyway."
It was a moment I'll never forget. But, it showed what kind of sweet person she was.
