James M. Banski, age 77, died on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
A celebration of James life will be held on Monday, June 18, 2007 at his home in North Fond du Lac, 140 Twin Lakes Drive, at 2:00 PM.
James Michael Banski was born on April 15, 1930 to the late John and Kathryn (Olson) Banski. He was in the army for 22 years and retired from the Air Force in the early 70”s. James loved so many things in life. He enjoyed reading about history and was always proud to talk about his history as a veteran. He also loved spending time in his garden and even liked pulling the weeds. Spending time with his grandchildren was also something he enjoyed to do. He was very humorous and would talk about anything and everything with anyone.
James is survived by his wife, Geraldine of North Fond du Lac, his children, Michael Banski of Oak Creek, Rita (Daniel) Evans of Jackson, John Banski, also of Oak Creek, Paulan (Alex) Stefanovic of Hancock and Zsuzsanna (John) Panke of Concord, NC. He is further survived by his five grandchildren, Sandor Torgyik of Concord, NC, Joseph, Paulanna A., Wolfgang and Stefon Stefanovic, all of Hancock, a brother, Robert (Jozette) Banski of Vallejo, CA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Victoria, his son, Joey and a brother, Tom.
