Jane E. Sellnow

Jane E. Sellnow, age 72, of Mayville passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at St. Luke’s in Milwaukee.A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 24 at 3:00 p.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville with the Rev. Jonathan Szczesny officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 24 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will take place at St. John’s Cemetery in Mayville.Jane was born on March 21, 1944 to Harold and Ethel (Grunske) Lindert. She was baptized on April 26, 1944 and confirmed on May 5, 1958. She was a graduate of Mayville High School. She was united in marriage to William Sellnow, Jr. on July 14, 1962. She was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville and was a past member of the Dorcas Society. She was employed through her life as a waitress and worked at the Pizza Hut in Beaver Dam for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and camping trips. Jane also enjoyed the scent of a good candle. She cherished the time spent with her family and grandchildren. Jane is survived by her children; Randy (Laura) Sellnow of Iron Ridge, Tony (Nancy) Sellnow of Mayville, and Jennifer (Jay) Adelmeyer of Beaver Dam. Her mother- Ethel Lindert. Her siblings; Marcel (Joan) Lindert, Marlyn (Nancy) Lindert, Gloria (Larry) Rassman, Wanda (Bob) Fairly, Marvin (Arlette) Lindert, Mark (Tonya) Lindert, Robin (Debbie) Lindert, Dawn (Gary) Krueger. Her 3 grandchildren; Derrick (Billie), Devin, and Becca. Further survived by nieces, and other relatives and friends.She is preceded in death by her father, her husband William, and brother Morris.
