Deeply missed by me. I loved the way she would come to my door if she had a problem with the washer or dryer, or with something she heard on the news

Lisa White left a message on May 9, 2025:

Sending our sincere condolences to the whole extended Lewis family. As Tim’s sister I had the pleasure of Mrs. Lewis’s company many times through the years; at Showtime, holiday meals and other family get togethers.

One of my favorite memories was a long ago Showtime when there was a DJ after the show. They played “We are Family”, and the Lewis and White families got out on the dance floor, and spontaneously joined hands, dancing and singing together. I was next to Jane, and we held each other’s hand, and sang to each other “We are family!” It felt wonderful to express & feel that warm family bond; it’s lived in my heart ever since.

I’ll always admire Jane’s dogged determination to just keep going regardless of circumstances, and the wonderful sound of her laughter as she did so. She was one special lady who raised a lot of good kids. She will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.

With heartfelt sympathy,
Lisa White and Jeff Gilardi

I will always remember going to their house, spending the night and eating spaghetti. She was my Godmother. Prayers to my cousins!
