Janet M. Coulter

Janet M. Coulter, age 80, of Theresa passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at her home.Visitation for Janet will be held on Tuesday, February 23 from 3:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 23 at 5:00 pm. at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Wilkens officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Union Cemetery in Theresa.Janet was born the daughter of Elmer and Adela (Mueller) Giese on January 26, 1936 in Theresa, WI. She was united in marriage to Ronald Coulter on August 6, 1955 in Theresa, WI. Janet worked for Widmer’s Cheese and then for Quad Graphics until she retired. She was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, quilting, and reading. Family was also important to Janet and she enjoyed taking trips with her sisters and especially enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren. She was also a proud grandmother for her grandchildren’s sporting events.Janet is survived by her husband Ronald of Theresa. Her children- Ed (Diane) Coulter of Horicon, Dennis ‘Gibby’ (Laurie) Coulter of Lomira, Gary (Special friend Chris Crass) Coulter of LeRoy, Steve (Lisa) Coulter of Brownsville, Sandy (Mark) Herman of Lomira, and Sharee (Jim ‘Fritzy’) Fritz of Brownsville. Her 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Her sisters- Margaret Schultz of Howards Grove, Dorothy Krueger of Fond du Lac, Shirley Gruber of West Bend and Bonnie Okon of Mayville. Her brother- Ralph (Faye) Giese of Theresa. She is further survived by other relatives & friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers- Oscar and Marvin Giese, sisters Ruth ‘Mary’ Schultz and Verona Hartwig, and one granddaughter Courtney Coulter.Memorials may be directed to St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville.
