Janice was born the daughter of Fred and Clara (Luebke) Stucke on February 14, 1932. She became a child of God through her baptism on March 11, 1932. Janice was confirmed in her faith on April 14, 1946. Janice was a lifelong and faithful member of St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge. Janice graduated from Mayville High School and was a member of the Color Guard.
Janice was united in marriage to Victor Schultz on September 15, 1951, at St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church. She was a member of the lady’s aid group. Janice worked for 26 years at the Post office and waitressed at the Iron Ridge Inn. She enjoyed talking with her customers and looked forward to seeing them.
Janice was a caregiver by nature and devoted to caring for Victor after he became disabled. She also enjoyed many years of watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren when they were little. She was so proud of them and looked forward to watching them in their various sports. She frequently planned fun things to do with them.
Janice enjoyed going to the casino and playing the slot machines. She also was in the “Red Hat” club and enjoyed many outings with the group. Janice enjoyed travelling and Switzerland was one of the many trips she was on. She enjoyed playing golf and bowled at Bilgrien’s Lanes in Iron Ridge as part of the Lady’s League. Many fun times and memories were made there.
Janice attended shows and plays at The Fireside in Fort Atkinson. In her younger years, she enjoyed gardening and tending to her flower beds. Janice was meticulous with her lawn upkeep, and it always looked so nice.
Janice will be missed by her children: Rusty Schultz of Iron Ridge and Debbie Doll (John) of Hartford; her grandchildren: Matthew McGuire (Lindsay), Mitchell McGuire (Ashley); step grandchildren: Adam Doll (Dana), Ryan Doll (Amanda); and her six great grandchildren: Mason, Connor, Addie, Maggie and Jack McGuire, and Easson Doll. She is further survived by other relatives and dear friends.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Victor, and special friend Merle Handel.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Wellington Place of Hartford and Brighton Hospice for the compassionate care Janice received.

Jannie was one of a kind. Can't tell you how much fun she was to be around.
Our bowling days were such great times. Haven't seen her in a long time, but will always remember her.
