Jason John Edwards, 46, of Columbus, Wi passed away unexpectedly Wednesday November 17th, 2021 at Prairie Ridge Hospital in ColumbusJason was the youngest of two children born to John and Debbie Edwards (Yuds) on December 15th, 1974 in Columbus Wi. Jason was a security guard for most of his life which he enjoyed all the interactions and connections he was able to make with many people. Jason was an avid Monopoly collector, who spent his free time watching wrestling and horror movies, and even attending horror conventions to meet some of his favorite stars. Jason also loved to go on adventures with the love of his life Jennifer who he was lucky enough to marry on March 3rd, 2007. Above all Jason loved being with family.Jason is survived by his wife Jennifer of Columbus; his son Kodi (Gena) Edwards of Columbus; his grandsons, “Papa’s little buddies” Grayson and Eli; his parents Debbie and John Edwards of Columbus; sister Jodi (Jim) Smith of Columbus; father-in-law Bryan McKnight of Arkansas City, Kansas; mother-in-law Jeanne (Clyde) Lyons of Columbus; sisters-in-law Stephanie Stockton of Kaukauna,Wi and Lesa Ryan of Arkansas City, Kansas; brother-in-law Trevor Stockton of Columbus; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents; his nephew James Vick, and brother-in-law Jason McKnight.A memorial gathering will be held at the Koepsell-Zeidler Funeral Home in Columbus on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 4 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6 p.m.
