Jason S. Achuff, 52, of Beaver Dam passed away unexpectedly on January 25th, 2023 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond Du Lac, WI during surgery. Jason had been fighting to recover after significant complications as a result from his initial open heart and lung surgery on November 30th, 2022. While in rehabilitation, Jason greatly looked forward to regaining his independence, coming home to his family and enjoying time in nature with his new found appreciation on life before his final surgery.
A memorial gathering for Jason will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Kestrel Ridge Golf Club, 900 Avalon Road, Columbus, WI 53925.
Jason was born on September 20th, 1970 and grew up in Middleton, WI. Jason was truly a one of a kind soul. He was intelligent and wise beyond his years, offering insight and advice to anyone who needed it. He had a witty sense of humor, but he was also a generous, humble, give-the-shirt-off-his-back kind of man who cared very deeply for his family, friends and clients. Jason’s life motto was to go with the flow, but remember to always live in the moment.
Outside of his family business, Jason loved to golf at any given opportunity, especially with his son, Ben. He also loved to travel, listen to live music, enjoy the sunshine on the beach, and pass the time with his family and friends. He has left a mark on the hearts of everyone he has met. He is deeply missed by his family, friends, clients and all hospital staff who cared for him in his final weeks.
Jason is survived by his father, Orville “John” Marks, his sister Traci (Scott) Rose, his four children, Hillary Achuff, Austin Achuff, Andrea Achuff (Nathan Hendrix), and Benjamin Achuff (Jordan Potter), his grandson, Carter Achuff, and further survived by his cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jason is preceded in death by his mother, Susan Marks and grandmother, Shirley Arneson.
