Jay Tyler Horn, age 72, of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, passed away at his home on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
Plans for a Celebration of Jay’s life are pending.
Jay was born the son of Ralph and Beverly (nee Hall) Horn on September 12, 1952. He was united in marriage to Deborah Justman in 1981 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville.
Jay proudly served his country in the United States Army Security Agency in Turkey and Thailand and was a member of the Cedarburg American Legion Post #288. Whenever thanked by anyone for his service, he always replied “It was my honor to serve, and I would gladly do it all over again.”
Jay was a lifelong dog lover and over the years owned and befriended various dogs, especially Labrador Retrievers.
Jay’s sense of humor and his distinctive big laugh were often commented on by those who knew and loved him.
Jay is survived by his loving wife Deb. Their journey together through life provided great joy for both of them.
Jay was preceded in death by his parents.
