Jeanmarie Wagner

Jeanmarie Wagner, 57, of Horicon passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

A memorial gathering for Jeanmarie will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 10:00 until noon at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau, Wisconsin.  A memorial service will begin at noon with Rev. David Brandt officiating.

Jeanmarie was born on August 10, 1965 the daughter of Philip and Rosemarie (Zautke) Stiemke in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  On May 4, 1991, Jeanmarie and Dennis Wagner were united in marriage at Gloria Dei-Bethesda Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by Jeanmarie’s grandfather.

She was a graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, completed cosmetology school and was a licensed beautician. Jeanmarie was a faithful member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau, Wisconsin.

Jean had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She absolutely loved family gatherings.  She was an excellent cook, she especially enjoyed making deviled eggs. Mostly, Jean loved being a wife and mother.

Jean is survived by her husband of 31 years, Dennis and their son Andrew both of Horicon; her brothers: Tim (Beverly) Stiemke of West Bend, Scott (Carol) Stiemke of Germantown and John Stiemke of Jackson; her best friends: Sam and John Hoffman of Kansas City, Missouri and her faithful canine companion, Kali.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jeanmarie’s name may be directed to the Dodge County Humane Society.
