Jim Christison, 53, of Beaver Dam passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 6, 2013 as a result of an automobile accident.
Jim was born the son of Milton Robert and Carol (Van Horn) Christison on May 7, 1960 in Yakima, WA. He was married to Julie Zumm on September 10, 2011 in Brownsville, WI. Jim was a graduate of Madison Memorial High School, and as of two weeks ago, graduated with high honors and a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac.
Jim enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He enjoyed watching Westerns, John Wayne films and Fox News. Jim loved his grandkids and watching their soccer games. He especially loved being with his family and friends.
Jim is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Julie; his mother, Carol; his son, Eric and wife Nicholle; his step-children: Amanda, Eva, Rachel, Joe and wife Barbi, Francie and Owen; his grandchildren: Jasmine, Marissa, Charlie, Adrian, Ryan, Austin, Gavin, Savannah, Monique and Isaiah; his siblings: Lucie and husband Norm, David and Mary; his niece and nephew: Ilona and John; and further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Koepsell Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Rd., Beaver Dam with Pastor Brian Hastings officiating. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Due to allergies, Jim’s family requests that no perfume be worn.
