Joan Rosemarie Kuhlman, age 74, of Beaver Dam, died on Monday, April 30, 2007 at UW Hospital in Madison.

Friends and family may call on Friday, May 18, 2007 at the Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again Saturday, May 19,2007 at the Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of service. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 12 Noon at the Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Bob Castro officiating. Inurnment will be at Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton, Dodge County on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 1:00 PM.

The former Joan Rosemarie Sabatke was born on May 20, 1932, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Hilton and Dagmar (Aggerholm) Sabatke. On November 3, 1951, she was united in marriage to Walter Kuhlman in Beaver Dam. Joan was a1950 graduate of the Beaver Dam High School and was most recently employed at McDonalds. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall in Beaver Dam. She loved music, reading, traveling throughout Wisconsin to visit family and going to work. She also enjoyed traveling to Arizona to visit relatives and friends. Her laughter and smile will be missed by many.

Survivors include her five children, Dean (Gwenn) Kuhlman of Kenosha, Dennis (Kim Simmons) Kuhlman of Beaver Dam, Jay (Pamela) Kuhlman of Beaver Dam, Mark (Kathleen) Kuhlman of Beaver Dam and Patricia Kuhlman of Montello, ten grandchildren, her twin sister Joyce Kasmiskie of Janesville, her uncles Morton Aggerholm of northern Wisconsin and Clarence Sabatke of Beaver Dam, a brother and sister-in-law, Donald (Gerri) Kuhlman of Pardeeville and a sister-in-law, Margaret Grahn of Florida, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter, on February 28,1999, a brother Rodney Sabatke and a sister Arlene Papagusta.
