Joann L. Muche, 76, of Lebanon passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 peacefully at her home.A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Lebanon with the Rev. Douglas Bergelin officiating. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the church. Interment will take place at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in Lebanon. The former Joann Bischoff was born on January 15, 1939 in the township of Hubbard, daughter of Emil and Leora (Schwantes) Bischoff. She was married to Marvin Muche on April 18, 1959 at Zion Lutheran Church in Horicon. Joann is survived by her husband, Marvin; her three children: Cheryl (Joseph) Haase of Horicon, Michael Muche of Watertown, and Carmen (Richard) Umland of Mayville; four grandchildren: Jared (Jayna), Kayla Haase, Kevin (Kayla), and Lisa (Kyle) Muche; great-grandchildren: Reese, Kaydence, and Aiden; her two brothers: James Bischoff of Horicon and Darwin Bischoff of Juneau; her former daughter-in-law and special friend, Diane Muche; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father-in-law, her sister-in-law, her brother-in-law, and her nephew.Memorials may be directed to Home Health United Hospice – South Branch.
