Joanne J. Binder

Joanne J. Binder, 73, a resident of the Larson House in Columbus and formerly of Beaver Dam passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Columbus Community Hospital. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Rd., Beaver Dam. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam the following day. Joanne was born the daughter of Clarence and Margaret Binder on June 29, 1941 in Milwaukee. She was a 1959 graduate of Custer High School in Milwaukee. She was employed with AT&T for 35 years until her retirement in 1995. Joanne enjoyed traveling around the country and spending time at her home on Beaver Dam Lake. She will be missed by her “Honey Bunny” and life partner of 23 years, Lawrence E. Eckstein of Beaver Dam. She is further survived by her sister, Deloris Blankenmeyer of Menomonee Falls as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
