Joanne Sanford

Joanne Sanford, age 82, of Mayville passed away peacefully on December 11, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Mayville.A private family service will be held.Joanne was born the daughter of Presley and Shirley (Ansel) Hall on August 19, 1935 in West Virginia. She was united in marriage to Jeffrey L. Sanford on September 30, 1964 in New Castle, PA. She was a veteran of the US Air Force. In her spare time Joanne enjoyed watching sports and especially liked to watch Law and Order. She enjoyed puzzles, crossword puzzles, and reading. She also loved the time she got to spend with her friends.Joanne is survived by her children- Patricia Wittman of IL., Ann (Dominic) Pauline of OH., Tracy (Alberto) Ramirez of Mayville and Tifany (Jason) Derksen of S.C., Her brother- Chester (Marlene) Hall of Oregon. Her sister- Shirley McCormick of OH. Her brothers in law- Russell Snyder and Robert Howard. Her 10 grandchildren- Kelsey, Kirsty, Stacey, Lindsay, Aaron, Brock, Alezander, Christopher, Venessa, and Torrie: and 1 great grandson-Paul. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Tammy Henry, 5 daughters in infancy and sisters Donna Mackey, Lois Howard, and Penny Snyder.
