So sorry for your loss. I was fortunate enough to work with him at Wisconsin & Southern Railroad for a few years, but in the office. There were company functions that we attended and my husband and I enjoyed hanging out with him when the opportunity presented itself. I also loved meeting Denette and speaking with her over the years. I remember laughing a lot!
We were lucky to know him and will remember him always. Here's to you my friend!

Knew John all my life. Just a great guy. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends
I will never forget the Dodge County Track Meet when Cait fell during 400M hurdles. Your dad and I were at the top of the bleachers, cheering and screaming as you got up and came from behind to win the race anyway! He was so proud of you! You obviously have a lot of his fight and toughness too!
Dear Nettie. Caty and Nick, please accept our heartfelt sympathy in your loss and in thd loss of our dear friend. I will always treasure our hunting and fishing time with Johnny and our PBR'S after along with all the ribbing we gave each other. Rest in peace buddy, we will sure miss you!
Lots of memories as I grew up with John. A truly genuine person who I always enjoyed hanging with.
You left me with great memories, John. Running relay with you in track, playing football under Jack Omar and the parties!
Thanks for the memories, cuz!
Safe travels on your final journey.
SHIVALAYA!
I’m so sorry for your family. He was such a big part of my life. He waved to me every time I was outside. He always made me happy when he talked to me, his humor always made me laugh. He would always be willing to help anyone in need. He will never be forgotten.
