To the Omen family, John was a very important person in my life growing up and family members. John will deeply be missed, most and memorable was the times of Legion baseball and the aftermath get togethers with Food and beverages (lol). Dearly missed.
The volunteers, flight team and board of Badger Honor Flight mourn the loss of their hero, John Omen. We are thankful for his military service and proud to have served him on his trip to Washington, D.C. on April 22, 2017.

Dear Marian, Jeff, Scott, Chris, and Mindy, Please accept my condolences on John's death. My memories of him and all of you are many and fond. My family and yours shared lots of laughs as across-the-street neighbors. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
My sincere sympathy to the family for your loss. I grew up with the story that my grandmother's sister, Nettie Mallon, was the midwife of my mother's birth on Dec. 23rd. After Aunt Net cared for the both of them she left and went to deliver John and Mick on Jan. 4th. I also had the pleasure of working with John at Wayland Academy. To a man who had accomplished so much and who always had a smile....you will be missed.
Scott and Family, My heartfelt sympathies. What a great and generous man your father was. Many fond memories of being with him coaching our St. Patrick's basketball team. Taking us to our first Milwaukee Buck's Basketball game. Getting together at your house. Good times. May remembering all the great things about him comfort you during your time of loss.
So sorry to hear of John's passing. Omen Family, please know John is in a better place, and also know all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm sorry for your loss. John will sure be remembered.
The gates of heaven have once again opened and welcomed home a wonderful man. John and our Dad were friends for more years than I can recall. I remember how very thoughtful John was when he came to honor our father at his funeral. As a child growing up in Beaver Dam John was one of the first police officers we were introduced to. John served the Beaver Dam community and the families who lived there in many capacities but the most memorable for myself and my family was his true and compassionate friendship for my Dad. The picture that comes to mind is of John pushing my Dad in his wheelchair at a police picnic at the park on the north side of town. The two friends shared many memories that day as they reminisced together for the last time. As I spoke today with some of my siblings we shared in a true sense of sadness for John's family, for the community he loved and called home and for the police force which he served with such professionalism. Beaver Dam and Dodge County has lost one of its finest. Our deepest sympathy to John's family.
Shane, Jeff... I'm so completely sorry for your loss. Words can't express the grief of losing someone close to you. Know he is no longer in pain and is in peace.
So sorry for your loss. I will miss seeing him on the porch when driving by
Scott,
