We were very sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. We had many a good times when she and Tom managed the Mayville Golf Club. Very fond memories! Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
May God's Angels surround you all and comfort you in your time of deep sorrow. Joyce was a special lady to many. I first met her while she helped me be the Fond du Lac Tavern Leagues Secretary. We would do lunches together after Tom's passing. She shared so many happy times they had together. The care she gave him was part of the love story that brought me to tears. I wish I could of came on Sunday knowing she would be there to greet me with her smile but God needed her. Tom prepared for her coming and they will be together for eternity. I love you Joyce. Until we meet again watch over your family as you always have.
My prayers of comfort and love to all Joyce's family members. I met Joyce years ago at the Holiday Inn when I worked with her for a Class Reunion; efficient, a stickler for detail, and compassionate on the night of the event. Story: checking on the committee during a large gathering, she noted a person needing help at a table, put down her clipboard, and leaned over & cut his meat-I have tears as I think of this. I know Tom was her mentor as she cared for him for years. AND, then our friendship continued at Ascension Lutheran Church. I walked to her car with her in Oct one morningshe wasn't feeling well and I was concerned. She and Tom are reunited for eternity. Blessings to you as U celebrate her life. Cathie Aschenbrenner
She was a true friend and a wonderful hugger. She was on the class reunion committee forever.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I am so sorry I won't be able to make the funeral service. Am very grateful that I had a chance to say goodbye on Friday in person. Tavern League activities will never be the same! You will be forever loved. Thank you for always being there for me. With all my love - Lisa Thompson
