The importance of her faith was instilled in Joyce early on and she was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Parish in Horicon. In her younger years, Joyce enjoyed bowling and spending time up north with her husband, family, and friends. She took pride in her flower gardens and crafting various projects.
Joyce loved her family deeply and time spent with them was something she always looked forward to. Joyce was very giving, almost to fault, but wanted to make sure her family and those around her were always cared for and loved.
