Juanita Treviño, age 78, of Cambria, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025. Born in Mexico on January 4th 1947, Juanita built a beautiful life in the United States, where she was known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Visitation for Juanita will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam. All who knew and loved Juanita are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
On March 24, 1969, she was united in marriage with Jose Treviño in Mexico City. For many years, she worked for Seneca Foods in Cambria operating Machine 5, where she was cherished by her colleagues for her hard work, loyalty, and warm spirit. A proud Christian woman, Juanita’s faith was at the center of her life, guiding her through both joys and challenges.
Juanita was a remarkable cook, a devoted wife, and a loving, caring, and outspoken soul. She carried herself with grace and resilience, always standing strong for those she loved. She loved gardening, found joy in knitting blankets for the newborns in her family, and, in her later days, embraced making TikToks that brought smiles to her loved ones.
Survivors include her children, Leticia Montenegro, Nidia Treviño, Lourdes Lemus, Jose Alexis Treviño, and Cristina Treviño; her grandchildren, Nidia Habeli Aguilar, Luis Alberto Rosales, Isabel Rosales, Homero Aguilar Jr., Justin Treviño, Anahí Yanet Aguilar, Armando Montenegro, Arianna Janelle Reyes, Miguel Angel Cuellar and Keisha Treviño; her great grandchildren, Kinsley Rosales, Analeah Aguilar-Gobermann and Azalena Aguilar -Gobermann. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband.
