Judith Brashear, age 78, of Fox Lake, died Friday, April 28, 2023 at Randolph Health Services.
Judy will be interred in Oakwood Cemetery.
Judith Ann was born on March 29, 1945 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Carl and Rebecca (Strieff) Wendling. She was united in marriage with William Brashear on June 4, 1966 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Judy worked at Green Giant and later at Shopko, both in Beaver Dam. She was a devout Christian who wanted others to have faith and believe. She lived her faith each day and had been a Sunday School teacher. Judy was one of those people that was always there when someone needed something; she was a wonderful friend and loved playing cards. Judy enjoyed the outdoors, especially her flower gardens and feeding the birds and chipmunks.
Survivors include, her daughter, Rebecca Malchek of Fox Lake; a grandson, Jordan Malchek; a granddaughter, Willow Brashear; a brother, Ronald (Janet) Wendling of Theresa; other relatives and friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, William Curtis Brashear and Rudy Brashear; her son-in-law, Jason Anton Malchek, Sr.; a grandson, Jason Anton Malchek, Jr.; a brother, Carl; and two sisters, Carol and Loretta.
