Juliene L. Owens, age 85, of Beaver Dam, died on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no formal service and cremation will take place.

Juliene L. Andrews was born on April 3, 1937 in Waupun, Wisconsin to John and Elsie (Krueger) Andrews. She raised her children in the Waupun area and later received a technical diploma from Moraine Park Technical College, completing the Medical Coding program. Juliene worked for many years at Waupun Memorial Hospital. Any spare moment that she had, she enjoyed spending it with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Juliene is survived by her sons, Charles Owens of Beaver Dam and Jeff (Debra) Owens of Randolph; grandchildren, Thomas Owens, Ryan (Stacy Gutsmiedl) Owens and Amy (Joe) Taubenhien; great grandchildren, Olivia, Corbin, Lincoln and Levi; sister, Jean Henderson; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and three brothers.

I recently learned of Jo's death. It wasn't uncommon for us to not see one another because she stayed to herself, and I was gone a Iot. I was and still am in shock. Jo was such a dear friend and confidant. Always wearing a smile and taking time to talk to whomever was around. I always got a kick out of that "look" she would put on her face when she didn't like what was said, or what had gone on in the apt. bldg. I chuckle when I think of that. We both had a favorite candy bar, PayDay! So, every so often we'd treat ourselves with one. She was so proud of her family and those babies....she always showed me the pictures that were sent to her. I will miss her a lot. Jo had a heart of gold and a laugh that I loved to hear. My sincerest condolences to all of Jo's family. My consolation in losing my friend is that she is now at peace and no longer struggles with her illness.

So sorry for your loss. Juliene was a dear friend of mine. We used to go to BDACT to see theater productions and out to eat. She was a very dear person and will be greatly missed. My prayers are with her family.
