Kathleen A. Wieckowski

Kathleen Ann Wieckowski, of Mayville, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church located at W173S7743 Westwood Drive, Muskego, Wisconsin 53150. Visitation will be on Friday, March 21, 2025 at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. A luncheon will follow the service at Meyer’s Restaurant and Banquet Hall located at 4260 S. 76th Street, Greenfield 53220.

Kathy was born on July 21, 1953, to Leonard Sr. and Sally (nee Vonskyhawk) Wieckowski in Milwaukee. She was the oldest of five children. Her family later moved to New Berlin where she attended New Berlin Eisenhower High School and graduated in 1971. Kathy moved to Mayville in 2004 where she purchased her first home. She worked and retired from GE Medical Systems and was an IAM Local #1916 retiree.

Kathy loved animals and arts and crafts. She instilled in her children a love for cooking and deep faith in God, always teaching them to trust in Him and have faith.

Kathy is survived by her loving children Joseph Brian (Corinne) Lazaris and Christine Ann (Michael) Mueller; seven grand cats: KayKitty, Bitsy, Oreo, Cooper, Loka, Bailey and Oliver; brothers: Ken Wieckowski, Greg Wieckowski, J.J. Wieckowski, and Jeff Wieckowski. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved cat, Lexa.
