My deepest condolences Duane to you and your family.
There was an article I’ve been looking for regarding “In-Law”, but I can’t find it…so here goes my version. Kathy has been more than a Sister-in-Law, from being one of the first to get up for “We Are Family” to dance at weddings, or even last July, staying up til past 11pm for one more game of cards, to my first interaction with my older sister. It was 1976, and school had one more ticket to go to the girls state basketball tourney in Madison. Well thanks to landlines couldn’t get ahold of Mom to ask if I could go.. so I called Kathy. Her response, “sure, it is just to the game and you will be home later tonight.”. Well, plan B when the ice storm hit and we were stranded in Madison, Kathy ensured that Mom/Dad knew that she gave permission that I go (which was huge if anyone remembers Ellis). … so this “in-law” is NOT a factor here. She will always be my Sister. Love you and miss you( I still have the beer mug hat she got me for a his graduation gift)… just because it was from her…and the “saying” is spot on. You’re ON EAGLES WINGS now ♥️ 🙏
