Kay K. McElmurry, 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Marvin’s Manor in Horicon.

Kay was born on September 29, 1944 the daughter of Alvin and Mavis (Frank) Kaiser.  She was married to Thomas McElmurry.

Kay is survived by her daughter Heather (Craig) Hughes of Fox Lake; her grandson Carter Hughes and her sister-in-law Joyce McElmurry of Madison.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Mavis Kaiser, her husband Tom in 1999 and her brothers and sisters-in-law: Gary McElmurry, Bev McElmurry, George McElmurry, Bonnie McElmurry, Mary Carnahan and Darlene “Tootie” Oliver.

A visitation for Kay will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.  A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dan Schultz officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Poynette, Wisconsin.
