Kenneth L. Klink

Kenneth L. Klink, 82, of Juneau passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Hillside Manor with his family by his side.

A memorial gathering for Ken will be held on Thursday, September, 5, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam.  Inurnment will take place at a later date at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Juneau, Wisconsin.

Kenneth Leon was born on September 14, 1941, the son of Vincent Paul and Isabel Katherine (Schultz) Klink in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.  He was a graduate of Juneau High School.  Ken proudly served his country in the United States Marines for 4 years.  After he returned home he was employed with John Deere in Horicon for over 30 years.

Ken pursued many interests through the years. He played Center for the Juneau Football Team and was a Golden Gloves boxer. He enjoyed fishing with his life-long friend, Ralph Muenchow, ballroom dancing and traveling out west with his long-time companion, Sue Slaby, as well as sailing, ice boating, golfing, investing, and spending time with his family.

Ken will be deeply missed by his son Chad Klink (Breanne Johnson) of Beaver Dam and his daughter Brooke Klink (Joe Kolak) of Jacksonville Beach, Florida; his grandson Jack N. Klink; his sister Carole Gahlman and his companion Sue Slaby.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, twin sister Karen Zingsheim, brothers: Florian “Jack” Klink and Aaron “Dick” Klink, Sr., and his former wife Carol (Wiese) Klink.
