Kevin K. Keel

Kevin K. Keel, age 62, of Hustisford, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife and family, on Friday, June 21, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.

The visitation will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Renae Dymond officiating. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Juneau.

Kevin Karl was born on September 3, 1961 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Eugene and Joann (Michael) Keel. He was a hardworking family man, that enjoyed the simple things in life. Most of his joy came from walking through his pastures and taking care of his cows. He loved sitting on a tractor planting seed and harvesting in the fall. There wasn’t a hay bale that got the best of him! Milking and feeding the animals also was a passion for him. He spent much of his time farming in the Hustisford/Oak Grove area. He married Debra Anderson on September 2, 2009. He was a private man, but if you were in his inner circle, your time was spent talking about life and enjoying his company.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Deb Keel; children, Kurt Keel and Kasie (Dolores) Keel; grandchildren, Kate (Jake), Kayla, Kieston, Steven, Thomas, and Logan; brothers and sister, Nancy Schade, Ross (Renee) Keel, Russell (Kathleen) Keel, and Quint (Lisa) Keel; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rod and Terry Anderson, Rhonda and Jeff Schmude, and Brad and Kristina Anderson; his beloved dog, Tuti; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Ken and Delores Anderson; infant brother, Danny; and brother-in-law, Joe Schade.

The family would like to thank all the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, specifically the ICU department.
