Kit was an extraordinary teacher who impacted countless lives through music. She was my first and favorite piano teacher and her legacy lives on every time I play the piano and organ. I cherish the memories of the many hours over the course of ten years she spent sitting next to me on the piano bench and still see her smiling face and hear her gentle voice. Kit will be greatly missed, but forever remembered in the music I play.
My condolences for kit's family and friends. I have not seen her for some time but I often remember working with her at the motel and her visits here with other friends, she is a very caring, loving soul and will be missed. May her strong faith ease your hearts.
What a fine obituary, Mitch. I really enjoyed Kit's sense of humor, as well as her sincerity. She will be dearly missed.
God bless you and the family with his comfort and love.

I am saddened to hear of Kit’s struggle with ALS and of her recent passing. She was a kind and caring person of beautiful character.
I came to know her during our years of work together in the music ministry at Trinity Church. I admired and enjoyed her musical offerings at the organ and piano as well as her sensitive accompaniments for choral activities and soloists.
I remember her best for her mild temperament and caring love of others.
My deepest sympathy to you. Kit was a sweet special lady.
I have known Kit for many years. Even though we had not seen each other for a few years, she always greeted me with a big smile and a hug. She was one of the sweetest people I've known. My heartfelt condolences to Mitch and her family. RIP Kit!
