Kraig William Vossekuil passed away in Frisco, Texas, on August 24, 2015. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 11 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville with the Rev. Barry Hoerz officiating. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 1 at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville from 4 until 7 pm and again on Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in Tn. Trenton.Kraig was born on March 26, 1973, to Diane Warner and David Vossekuil in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.Kraig is preceded in death by his father, David, and grandparents Leroy and Verona Vossekuil, Felix King, and June Warner. He is survived in love by his mother and grandfather, Merton Warner and grandmother Lois King, and families of aunts and uncles throughout Wisconsin. As one of four loving and devoted brothers along with their families, he is also survived by Kurt, wife Rhonda and their children Michael, Claire and Carson of Brownsville, Wisconsin; Gary of Appleton, Wisconsin; and Ryan, wife Maria and their children Leah and Lauren of Mayville, Wisconsin. Others deeply blessed by Kraig’s life include Tonya (Sherwood) Vossekuil of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Patrice Vossekuil of Horicon, Wisconsin, and their families. Kraig’s life is also celebrated by the many beloved friends who share in the enduring memories and legacies of his gentle and generous heart. And, anyone fortunate to have touched Kraig’s life will surely recall his great love for his dogs and all animals, Wisconsin teams and traditions, and his favorite vacation destination—coming home. Kraig graduated from Mayville High School in 1992 as an accomplished athlete and student leader, and from Marian University in 1996 as an ambitious and promising professional. Since moving to Texas in 1998, Kraig achieved a distinguished career as Senior Account Executive for the Fortune 500 technology procurement firm of Communications Supply Corporation-Dallas. Yet for all of Kraig’s gifts, his greatest joys were found in giving more than he wished to receive and in sharing his successes with those he loved and with anyone of those he encountered who were in need. For those who wish to contribute to Kraig’s selected charity, memorials are gratefully accepted to the American Cancer Association.Special thanks to Kraig’s friends down in Texas. Thank you for your love, care, and support and becoming that second family to Kraig.
