Lauren was a life long friend and I shall always value that friendship and the times we shared. Lauren was a person of faith that guided him always. He will always be remembered.
Lauren and I grew up together from literally the time we were born. I still have a picture of when our fathers took us to Hopkins Park in similar winter suits when we were about two or three. Lauren was great at sending me old pictures of us kids. I could go on recounting anecdotes but it all boils down to Lauren being a faithful lifelong friend of mine, as he was to so many others whose lives he touched.
I am so sorry for your loss. I will pray that the Lord will give you peace and strength during this time.
I have lost touch with your family and would enjoy restoring that.
My deepest sympathies to your family at this time of loss.
I and my wife Mary were so sad to hear of the passing of Lauren. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family of this wonderful neighbor. God Bless
I wish to extend my condolences to Lauren's family for their loss. Lots of fun with Lauren during our high school days; in particular, some great times hunting pheasants and rabbits. He will certainly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
So often my dear friend Marcia would share of the travels and the travails of your her courageous brother. I heard of his strong faith, his wonderfully supportive wife in sickness and health, and of his accomplished children, and his dog. I always felt as though I knew him and you all. I pray the God of all comfort be with you all as you walk this sad road until the day when we shall all be so joyously reunited. Revelation21:4
Lauren was a lifelong loyal and trusted friend. We shared many good and memorable times together when we were young, and while we went different paths, we remained close. Despite his physical struggles, he always remained positive and upbeat. He was truly an inspiration to all who were privileged to know him. He will be greatly missed! Our sympathies and best wishes go out to Lynne, Erik, Lee and the entire Miller family as they move forward in the warmth of Lauren's enduring love for them.

I first met Lauren at age 13 when we attended DeKalb Jr High and then went on to be friends throughout High School. He was a very kind and caring person, always lots of fun. Enjoyed seeing Lauren and Lynne at the class reunions every 5 years and always remember Lauren never forgetting to make sure our friend Dick Benson made it to the reunions when Dick became wheelchair bound. Lauren was a true and faithful friend to many who knew him. I send my sympathy and prayers to Lynne, their sons and family. May God be with you and bless you during these difficult times and may God bless my dear friend Lauren. RIP
I worked with Lauren during the decade of the 1980's. I was fortunate to get to know him and I know well that he loved God and family more that anything else. He will be missed.
When I was a young engineer at John Deere i heard Lauren give an address that encouraged "Quality of Life" outside the workplace. His words were an inspiration for me during my career. And now reading his very fine obit, it looks like he embraced that philosophy with his own family. Thank you Lauren
