Please accept my sincere condolences at the loss of a true friend and a very active dairy farmer. I first met Lee in 4-H Junior Leaders, and we played against each other in 4-H basketball and then Juneau Rec League softball. Always a gentleman and good sportsman, he will be missed. But never forgotten.

We are so sorry to hear of Lee's passing to heaven. Always knew there would be good conversation when he came to pickup hay he purchased from our farm. Sympathies and prayers to his family.

Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Paul Bruni left a message on February 15, 2020:

I'm going to miss Lee so much! He was always my favorite relative since I was a young kid playing baseball. Which was something Lee also really enjoyed played a lot. I don't think Lee ever knew this, but I do know he knew how much I loved him and his entire family. We all lost a great friend, father, cousin, just a awesome human being to so many people. I had cancer myself, and have lost my mom and so many others to this nasty disease and hope someday there's a cure. As it truly effects us all. My thoughts and prayers are with Mary, Shelly, Eric, Kristy, and rest of the family. You guys ever need anything you know you can reach out to any one of us 3. That's what family is for. Love you guys. And love you Lee and will miss you! R.I.P.

Not to be forgotten, that, in addition to being a great family man and farmer, Lee was one of the best all-around athletes to come out of Dodgeland High School.
