LeRoy Meyers

LeRoy “Lee” Meyers, 78, of Juneau and formerly of Milwaukee passed away of a heart attack at his home on Monday, July 20, 2020. LeRoy was born on February 18, 1942. His parents were Blanche and Nicholas Meyers. On December 22, 1971, he was united in marriage to Janice Irene Hoefs. They were married for 32 years; she preceded him in death in 2004. LeRoy was proud to be a truck driver and had been employed with Sonag Ready Mix for many years. He was also a member of the Teamsters Local 200 Union and proudly represented his fellow colleagues as a Union Representative. LeRoy was a member of the Juneau Rod and Gun Club and the National Rifle Association. He was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan. LeRoy enjoyed mowing lawn and loved to help others by mowing their lawns. LeRoy is survived by his daughters, Tammi (Kevin) Lux and their children Nolan and Morgen and Jean (Don) Dahl and her son Josh; his sister Geraldine “Honeygirl” Kloth. He is further survived by children: Linda Hill, Dawn Bard, Lee Meyers, Mark Meyers, George Meyers, Jenny Dubey, and Robyn Phillips; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Blanche and Nicholas Meyers and his wife Janice. Graveside services for LeRoy will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the Southern WI Veteran Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. Please arrive promptly at or before 12:30 p.m. for the 1:00 p.m. Outdoor Committal Service. Everyone in attendance must wear a face covering. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Juneau Police Educational Fund, Dodge County Sheriff Office or to the Juneau Rod and Gun Club.
