Jim Heindel was my first Spanish teacher in 8th grade, then my Latin Teacher for 2 years at BDHS. I am now retired from teaching Spanish full-time, but as a part-time teacher and sub, I STILL teach in part following his example --especially the humor. I have visited him several times through the years, and I am so glad that I was able to visit with him in BD almost exactly one year ago. Muchisimas gracias, Sr. Heindel !

A note from North Carolina: I had Mr. Heindel for Latin in Beaver Dam as well. Such a smart and truly funny man...he will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Marx family. I remember Lester very well. Although your hearts are saddened, may you be embraced by God''s loving arms giving you peace. Your memories of Lester will live on forever.
I am deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Lester''s passing. My sincerest sympathies to Rosie, Lester Jr., John, Jim, and Barb, as well as all of the grandchildren and great grandchildren. I would also like to extend my sympathies to all of Lester''s siblings, Aunt Beatty, Aunt Carol, Uncle Bobby, and of course my own father, Earl. I regret that distance prevents me from being there for the funeral, although I wish so much that I could be. I will be mourning right along with you on Thursday and thinking of all of you. Once again, my condolences to each and everyone in the entire family.
